It's really starting to feel like autumn here with darker and colder days and nights. This weekend I got to drag my feet through piles of fallen leaves on the sidewalk. The sound and smell was heavenly. Somehow the illustrations from Michelle Maiden of
Elemental Otherworld seems appropriate. Maiden is inspired by ancient myth and folktales from Europe.
Her shop is on Etsy where you'll find prints and some original pieces as well. Maiden takes commissions.
These are dark pieces to contemplate on a dark night. Be careful what you wish for.
