Claudia Martin's Dark Jewelry

This past weekend my husband and I and some friends headed to Albany, NY for a day of brewery hopping, the Troy Farmer's Market, a visit to the Albany Rural Cemetery, and a stroll around the Albany Twilight Market .  The Twilight Market takes place on the second Saturday of the month- September is the last street market for this year. I was impressed with the vendors at the Twilight Market! The market is focused on haunting, witchy, and oddities items. It was really fun to visit all the booths. I purchased several pieces of jewelry and some stickers. You can see more of the market on my Instagram feed.  I instantly fell in love with the jewelry at Claudia Martin's booth. I purchased a skull ring with gold that I couldn't stop looking at- above. Claudia has an online shop and while you won't see my ring there (maybe it is sold out?) you can find a variety of beautiful pieces. Fingers Overkill Caught My Eye

I happened upon some beautiful skull rings designed by Andrea Sciacca. Her shop, located in Genoa, Italy, is called Fingers Overkill . I like the medieval mood of these rings. They're not shiny and delicate- they mean business. Skull Ring Memento Mori Ring Yattaman Skull Ring Era Ring Anatomical Heart Ring Fly Necklace You'll also find many sea creature designs in the shop. It's all so fascinating.

Adorable Monster Jewelry

The pewter jewelry from Djek Carr is so fun. The ghost and monster pendants will outright charm you. Sure, it will be shipping from Moscow, but I think it might be worth the wait. And, the price is super affordable. Get one before the U.S. places sanctions on Russia! It's not going to be pretty, folks.

Dark Jewelry to Make You Feel Good

Now that I work from home I haven't been wearing as much jewelry as I used to. I make the effort to put on earrings and rings, but the brooches and necklaces are quietly waiting for me to pull them out again. And I will! My mom always used to remind my grandmother to put her dentures in by telling her "Put your zęby (Polish for teeth) in! When you look good, you feel good." Words to live by. (Also when my mom said zęby is sounded more like zoobies so my sister and I still call teeth zoobies) So with a vow to wear more of my jewelry everyday my eyes are pealed for new pieces. GUITAshop has jewelry that appeals to my dark fairytale soul. Evil Eye Earrings Catrina Pendant Skull Cuff Bracelet Skull Ring Amethyst Ring Sugar Skull Bracelet I love the coldness of silver, don't you?

Embroidered Halloween Pendants

Are you getting to that point in the Halloween season (just ignore that ridiculous opinion piece in Slate) when you don't know how we got to just 5 days before Halloween and nothing is finished yet? I'm looking at having to redesign an outdoor Halloween party into an indoor party due to rain forecasts and not sure if anyone will show up because of the damn pandemic and well, just ugh! Even our costumes were designed to wear outdoors. 😭 Then I see some beautiful piece of Halloween art and realize I can do this. I am the bringer of Halloween to my hive and I won't disappoint. I'll just let the magic of Halloween take over (plus a lot of low lighting.) What made me relax a bit? The beautifully embroidered pendants by Sarah Buckley . Usually Buckley has lots of floral pieces, but around Halloween she releases some skeletons and skulls.  I have a skull pendant purchased a few years ago from Buckley and get so many compliments on it. There are just a few Halloween pieces in ...

Adorable Little Ceramic Spookies

I happened upon the tiny ceramic figures from Little Mystic Life and fell in love instantly- that often happens between me and Halloween stuff. But really, these are just ADORABLE! Some can be hung from a chain and some are just miniature pieces of pure Halloween joy. See for yourself.
