Are We Having Fun?

It's getting to be that time where I need to stop what I'm doing and say "Hey, this is supposed to be fun!" Sometimes, I get too wrapped up in our Halloween party details to remember to enjoy it all.

I was reminded of this yesterday while listening to a radio story about Thanksgiving (I know, let's not even go there) that cautioned the dinner host not to get so tense. The story stressed that it doesn't have to be perfect and it's about people getting together to have a good time. So, I'm taking taking a moment to let this soak in.

In the meantime, let's all get real.
