Calaveras Card Deck

I try to only bring before you Kickstarter projects that are a) awesome and b) on the road to successful funding. I'm not much of a card player (though my husband wants us to start playing gin rummy- I'm mostly interested in the gin part of that), but I do like this particular deck of cards.

The Calaveras de Azucar playing cards are beautifully designed. Inspired by the Day of the Dead the skull that graces the deck is, as the artist Natalia Silva describes, "jolly."  This project is fully designed and already fully funded even though there are still 27 days left in the campaign. That means if you support the project you can take advantage of additional add-ons.

Rewards include: the card deck in various colors - some are limited edition colors, a t-shirt of the design, an uncut version of the deck for framing, a poster of the deck, and even canvas prints.  They all look fabulous. I might even start playing cards.
