I absolutely love gourds that are dried and carved like jack o'lanterns. I have a few and even when one of our cats knocked one of them down and it rolled, thumping, down the stairs I was able to glue the pieces back together and it looked even spookier. I like these sooooooo much better than the plastic jack o'lanterns, don't you?
