I've been a fan of Tag Team Tomkins for many years. Diane and Madeline Tomkins say they make art for book lovers, so maybe that's why I return to their shop again and again. Their collection of spooky sayings make me giggle. Find one that speaks to you and hang it in the entrance of your home to let everyone know where you stand. Can you believe September is right around the corner! That means if you're going to be purchasing items online for Halloween you'd better get to it. Today I have some Halloween door decorations from We Are Wood Lab . These are a nice change from a wreath. They're located in Venezuela so don't dawdle if you want one for your front door. Do you know what chalkware is? I didn't. It's the American term for figurines made from poured or moulded plaster of Paris. There, don't you feel smarter? MMPrimitives uses vintage chocolate moulds for their figures. They have lots of Easter bunnies for sale, but there are some pretty cool Halloween figures too. I'm starting to think about how I'll change up our outdoor Halloween decorations this year. Nothing major, I think I just want to add a few new things. You probably know that I have a "thing" about making sure that your daytime decorations look as good as your nighttime decorations. (No deflated creatures lying on the lawn in full view please.) I'm considering adding a few silhouettes this year for daytime viewing. There are several online shops I like. Here I go again, falling in love with the idea of a good, old-fashioned Halloween.  I just wanted to be surrounded by magic spells these days rather than a lot of stressful blood and gore.
