I know that hand fans really don't cool you off as much as an air conditioner in steamy weather, but they do look so elegant. If you have a chaise lounge and are draped across it holding a fan, well, you look fantastic. I found some fans that even the most serious Goth can love.
Looking at these makes we want to take an old fan apart to see if I could make one. No, wait. That would make me sweat. I'll just buy one.
