Tiny Terrors Tuesday: Lorraine Scuderi

Lorraine Scuderi makes some wonderful miniature dolls just perfect for your haunted doll house, and if that's not enough, she also has lots of tiny Halloween accessories. I think she has a good grasp of draping fabric as well. It's really hard to get fabric to drape in miniature. Check out her Etsy shop at Lorraine Scuderi Minis or her website for lots more miniatures.  Michael Jackson Skeleton Doll Halloween Shop Counter Vampire Lounge Menu Board Halloween Party Table Doll House Witch Sign Witchy Hat Box I'm so inspired by the Halloween miniatures I see!

Halloween Sketches: Jessica Stevens Murdock

I like the quick sketch feel of the drawings, watercolors, and prints by Jessica Stevens Murdock. They were originally created for a Mabs Drawlloween Challenge. Their simplicity makes them spookier, I think.  You'll find these at Chloe's Good Stuff . Pumpkin Ghost Monster Scarecrow Séance Hex There are more Drawlloween sketches to explore in the shop. They'll put you in a mood.

Gothic Jewelry: Alchemia Gioielli

Time for some new baubles? I discovered some gothic jewelry you might like from an Italian artisan named Mauro Pradella. There are skulls and graveyards and perhaps even a haunted house to adorn yourself with. The shop is Alchemia Gioielli . (Haunted?) Poisonous Flowers: Artisan Felt Flowers

I've been bringing porch plants inside and I always struggle with where to put them where they'll get some sun and the cats won't eat them. Believe me, it's quite the task. I love having flowering plants in the house, but I always have to check to see if they might be poisonous to pets. All the best ones are. So when I saw the felt poisonous plants made by Meagan at Artisan Felt Flowers I thought FANTASTIC! I could have a little poison garden that won't actually kill. Wolfsbane Foxglove Belladonna/Deadly Nightshade Hemlock Black Roses Bouquet Besides Etsy, you'll also find Meagan's flowers in her shop at Aventines.com .

Halloween Art Quilts: Carrie Payne

I love beautifully stitched quilts and when they play on the theme of Halloween, well, I'm smitten. Carrie Payne sells quilting patterns in her shop Believe Magic , but she also has some completed small quilts to hang that are all about Halloween. These have a modern vibe to them and I think they're pretty cool.  Spooky House Quilt Wall Hanging Hunger For Your Blood Haunting She Will Go Ghostly Good Time Halloween Happy Night Head over to Payne's blog to see her Fairy Tale Series of quilts. They're magical.

Tiny Terrors Tuesday: Sweet Pea Sculpts

I'm still as interested in creating a spooky doll house as I ever was, but just haven't had the time. I'm considering posting another miniature challenge for after the holidays. It might help take my mind off of the Miserable Season. If you haven't noticed, I've been trying to post regularly on Tuesdays about miniatures that are appropriate for Halloween, a witch cottage, or perhaps a haunted house. I'm plan to continue that so maybe you'll be inspired? Today I'm featuring the miniatures from Sweet Pea Sculpts . The tiny pieces are very witchy. 1:12 Scale Witch Hats and Cloaks Tiny Lit Pumpkin Potted Tentacles and Mushrooms Miniature Pumpkin Witch Hand from the Grave Heart Under Glass If you need more inspiration, you need only head to Facebook and join one of the many spooky doll house groups.
