I don't know about you, but I spent the weekend shopping. Most of it was online as I didn't want to travel far from home to visit crowded shops. After a day spent on the computer, I was filled with thoughts of a dark Christmas. Here are some of those thoughts. It's been a Shivers of Delight tradition to highlight some Black Plague decor and fashion on Black Friday. When I started this I never in a million years would have imagined we'd be living it. But, here we are and I'm not stopping now. On this Black Friday I'm featuring some pewter ornaments from Sheldon Pewter made by Darryl Sheldon. I thought I'd feature some miniature houses today in case you're feeling like you want to create your own spooky doll house. The kits from Bird's Wood Shack are made by Nathan Bird. They're laser cut from Baltic Birch Plywood and although they're not 1:12 scale and may be more of a challenge to decorate, they're really fun to look at. If you're looking for a winter project, this could be the one! Lisa Wolf creates Halloween folk art from paper mâché, saw blades, and paper clay. It's quirky and fun and you can find these pieces at Wolf's Folk Art on Etsy.
