Not everyone who collects Halloween art likes the primitive style, but my collection is eclectic and so I have some primitive items scattered throughout. I have to say I do love seeing pictures of historic home owners' purely primitive decor. There is something very gentle and warm about it- don't you think?
I came across Farm Field Primitives on Etsy a few weeks ago and what I found interesting about the designs is that Melissa Maneval uses blackened beeswax as her medium. I usually associate beeswax with candles, but none of the Farm Field Primitives are candles. Which is nice because I never want to burn those decorative candles anyway!
