Jessica Kathryn's Spun Cotton Halloween Ornaments

When I see adorable spun cotton figures I just want to go live in a little witch cottage in the countryside. It's fortunate that I love them so much because I'm running out of room for Halloween art, but I can always tuck in one more little piece. Jessica Kathryn is an American living in the English countryside (lucky woman) and has been making spun cotton figures since 2018.  While she designs for all kinds of seasons and holidays, her Halloween collection is, of course, what we're all interested in. Farm Field Primitives: Blackened Beeswax Halloween Decor

Not everyone who collects Halloween art likes the primitive style, but my collection is eclectic and so I have some primitive items scattered throughout. I have to say I do love seeing pictures of historic home owners' purely primitive decor. There is something very gentle and warm about it- don't you think? I came across Farm Field Primitives on Etsy a few weeks ago and what I found interesting about the designs is that Melissa Maneval uses blackened beeswax as her medium. I usually associate beeswax with candles, but none of the Farm Field Primitives are candles. Which is nice because I never want to burn those decorative candles anyway!  I'm posting images of some of my favorite pieces, but you should visit their site because there are lots of designs.
