While I've been away, I found some art doll artists that you might like. An Etsy Dilemma

First, I just want to say thanks for sticking with me! This blog has not come to its end. I've decided that I need a new schedule and posts will slowly be increasing over the next few months as we approach October when I'll be posting five days a week again. After Halloween, the posts will still arrive-just fewer. That gives me a little time to breathe and plan. The Shivers of Delight blog began in 2014, and over the years it has evolved to focus on Halloween artists. I love discovering artists that I didn't know about and love sharing them with you. The majority of the artists that I've posted about have shops on Etsy. That's because it is so easy to search on a specific word like "skull" and find hundreds of artists that create with that theme. I was so excited to see that Beth Robinson has some new dolls in her shop Strange Dolls ! I purchased an Accident Doll from Robinson several years ago at an art show in Burlington, VT and I just love it. She is calling her new collection Frost Bite. Frost Bite Girl 03 Frost Bite Girl 01 Sasha Emmaline Accident Doll Dr. Scops Robinson's dolls are typically a little fragile and damaged, but romantically so. Make sure you stop by the shop for a look.

Uncanny Sculptures: Teresa Wilson

Teresa Wilson's art dolls are hauntingly beautiful. Her shop is Beauty of Decay Art and she calls her work "uncanny sculptures."
