We've been hearing a lot about alternate facts lately. Matthew Buchholz's book
Alternate Histories of the World was released last October and couldn't be more primed for success. Buccholz adds a little alternative history to historic maps and posters for a hilarious effect. I have a thing for old maps, and combined with a macabre sense of humor, I really enjoy seeing additions like monsters and spaceships. Buchholz's website
Alternate Histories sells reconfigured maps and cards. These would make great gifts for any history buff. Father's Day will be here before you know it.
I think there are images from every state in the shop. You need one of these. But then, there are the cards.
I'm absolutely giddy.
