The figure made from a coyote skull, chicken bones, and a vintage doll caught my eye. How could it not? Alas, there was just one art doll. Fortunately, the jewelry kept me interested. Jeweler Kaitland Axelrood has a shop called
Purgatory Plaything and it offers adornments made from humanely sourced bones. It's not for everyone, but if you like that sort of thing, you'll want one of these pieces. A dark sense of humor is definitely required.
Can you imagine your child waking up in the middle of the night when you're trying to sneak their tooth from beneath their pillow and they see you wearing a molar necklace?! Fantastic. Your children should be a little frightened of you.
