Dark Crosses Stitchery

Now what will we do with ourselves? It's dark and it's cold and we're going to need something to get us through the approaching winter. I think we should turn to the stitching arts. I like it because you can still watch a movie while you're doing it. I didn't watch half the movies I planned to watch in October.

Dark Crosses is a shop that specializes in cross-stitch patterns for lovers of Halloween and well, you know, dark things. All you need is some fabric and black thread. Easy. I like that these pieces are shown framed instead of in an embroidery hoop. I'm a little over that.

La Calavera Catrina
All Are Equal In Death
Death Head Moth
The Tombstone Sampler
Mr. Bones in the Garden
Something Wicked This Way Comes

There are examples of finished pieces in red thread that are the lovely. You can see them by scrolling down to the Updates section. I think the key to making these pieces look fantastic is using a smaller weave. That's going to mean that I need lots of light and a magnifying glass. Where did I put those?
