Teddy Bear Memories

I came across a shop where you can have a teddy bear made in honor of someone who has died by using a piece of their clothing in the making of the bear. I like this idea. It's a happy way of keeping someone in your mind. You could even make the teddy bear part of a remembrance altar.

The site is called Remarkably Unique and Special Bears and the artist is Dawn Solomon. Solomon calls her creations Memory Bears. The price is very reasonable (starting at $45) and she has shipped the finished bears to most states in the US and three other countries besides.

You can purchase a bear to mark an occasion other than death, but what's the fun in that?

Here are some of the bears Solomon has made for people taken from her Pinterest board.

Solomon also makes bunny rabbits.

This is one of those things to just keep in the back of your mind. Maybe you'll need it someday?
