I picked up the autumn issue of
Art Doll Quarterly this past weekend because it's filled with great Halloween artists. I'll be featuring a few of them over the next couple of weeks, but don't let that stop you from purchasing the magazine yourself because there are lots of great art dolls in it.
Lisa Ammerman's dolls caught my eye right away.
They have just the right amount of spooky and silly that I love. Ammerman works with polymer clay and scraps of fabric to create a world of seasonal figures. Her blog
A Piece of Lisa, keeps fans up-to-date on her latest creations and lists upcoming art shows she'll be attending. You can purchase her figures on Etsy at
APieceofLisa. Buy now before everyone else sees Ammerman in
Art Doll Quarterly and cleans her store out.
